Born in India and raised predominantly in New Jersey, Keertana is a relatively recent college graduate who resides in San Francisco. A graduate of Wellesley College, with a double major in mathematics and economics, Keertana has long been an ardent feminist and passionate about women's inclusion in the workforce. This was only further solidified during her time in corporate America, when she began freelance writing for The Financial Diet. Keertana now works as a Financial Analyst for a female-run gender-lens impact investment firm in Oakland. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring new hiking trails in the Bay Area, experimenting with baked goods, creating off-the-beaten-path travel itineraries, and volunteering with social justice-oriented local organizations.
