The Senior Account Manager will play an integral role in telling our clients’ stories by fully understanding client objectives, contributing to strategic PR initiatives, and overseeing and executing daily client account activity. The Senior Account Manager will play an integral role in telling our clients’ stories by fully understanding client objectives, contributing to strategic PR initiatives, and overseeing and executing daily client account activity. Ongoing Responsibilities:
- Supporting strategy development and execution of programs
- Overseeing day-to-day contact for assigned clients
- Working closely with senior management to provide strategic direction and insight related to account activities
- Overseeing social media strategy (LinkedIn, Facebook, X, Instagram)
- Developing client content, including media materials, social media copy, blogs, media pitches, bylines, and Q&As
- Event planning and execution (attending client events as needed)
- Recommending and executing media strategies that generate coverage; build and nurture strong relationships with media contacts
- Demonstrating ownership to train and mentor junior team members and new hires; regularly coach and give feedback for improvement
- Participating in new business activity, playing a significant role in providing research, conducting assessments, developing creative ideas and presenting in new business meetings
Along With Creativity, Drive And Self-motivation, Your Previous Experience And Attributes Will Include:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7-9 years of post-college PR agency experience
- MUST live in the Nashville area
- Strong writing skills and solid understanding of traditional PR, media relations, and digital marketing/graphics
- Extremely organized with an ability to juggle multiple campaigns/deliverables at once
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, team-oriented environment
- Quick turnaround time with work; displays resourcefulness
- Enthusiasm for our clients and our work
- Client-focused – anticipate client needs and continually come up with ways to drive their business forward
- Self-motivated problem solver; willing to step in and assist the team when workloads are full
