About Me

May I help you with any or all of the following? -amplifying joy and 'getting paid to play' -networking strategy for authentic mingling -career search, exploration, and direction -life clarity -re-balancing personal and professional -starting or scaling a business -getting unstuck and staying curious about the world -being a 10% entrepreneur without quitting your day job -considering advanced degrees -articulating your story -resume and LinkedIn feedback My expertise lies in creative operations. Skilled at relating stories and anecdotes interestingly, I help individual artists, entrepreneurs, and organizations distill complexity. Adventure travel through 100+ countries, artful cuisine, and photography are hobbies. I ran customer engagement for public relations and marketing at Salesforce for 13 years and helped grow the company from $25 million to more than $5 billion in revenue, from 160 employees to 16,000 employees globally. I then headed customer success communications for Yext in preparation for its 2017 IPO. I am an investor in Restorsea, a naturally-derived clinically-proven skincare line, and I advise the board of FitSkin, a sophisticated skin imaging technology that allows consumers to measure what is happening above and below their skin’s surface. I have undergraduate and graduate degrees in French, Human Biology, and Sociology from Stanford University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Throughout high school, I served as an EMT and ambulance driver and thought that I would be a medical missionary when I grew up. In May 2019 I published a book titled Petal and Poultice: Memories of Destiny which is available through Schuler Books at http://tinyurl.com/2bwvyteh

I enjoyed my session with Anne very much. It was clear that she had prepared before my call so she had great questions and ideas that helped me sharpen my focus for my next steps. I also felt she was very good at sharing just enough information about herself so we could establish a quick bond and then make very productive use of our scheduled 1 hour consult; even if that meant a gentle interruption to get my ramblings back on track! In other words, she didn't run the clock out, she made sure I got the full benefit of her experience and guidance. Thank you Anne!!

It was a pleasure talking with Anne! She was very prepared and had a lot to talk about and offer in our session. I left feeling inspired by her perspectives on my situation and with a number of items to think through for the future.

My hour with Anne was empowering, energizing, and informative. From the moment we hopped on the phone together, I could feel her full attention was on me and trying to understand my situation in my career. Anne responded to my job dilemmas with understanding and actionable advice, and to my job opportunities with the enthusiasm of someone who truly wants the best for you and is on your team. After just an hour with Anne I had been referred a book to read, an online Masters course to investigate, and some much needed cheering on that we all need from time to time:-) Part therapy session and part life coaching, I hung up the phone feeling on top of the world. I hope to speak with Anne again and can't recommend her highly enough, especially to anyone who has an impending career choice to make or needs some reassurance that it is okay to make the career choice that excites you.

Anne has a very positive spirit about her which is very encouraging yet realistic. I left our conversation with a sense of excitement, clarity and affirmation for next steps in my career development. I really appreciated Anne's big picture advice along with tactical suggestions that I could work on in the near future. There is definitely some continued exploration I need to do on this journey and Anne left me with a lot to ponder. Would highly recommend!
