About Me

Hi, I’m Rebecca! I bring ten years of experience in the global tech recruiting space into my coaching. I know what "good" vs "GREAT" looks like in the hiring process and how to position you at the top of the hiring pool, so that you land your next desired job. I’ve helped hundreds of people find jobs that are more aligned with their skills, purpose and what actually brings them joy. I mentor women earlier in their careers all the way through to executives at large tech (Meta, Salesforce etc) to support them finding new jobs, career pivots and landing more aligned roles within their current company. Together I will help you: - Define career goals and direction - Build a strategic job search with concrete action plans and accountability - Identify previously unseen opportunities in the market and position you at the top of the hiring pool - Shape-shift your qualifications to a job that felt previously unattainable - Leverage (and build) your network to improve efficacy of your job search - Resume and LinkedIn - detailed audit and re-vamp (with best practices) Let’s get started! I’m excited to help you find your next role that truly lights you up. You deserve it and it’s entirely possible.

I found Rebecca to be very warm and honest. Her approach reminded me of motivational interviewing; she asked a lot of deeper questions that really led me to discovering what the common thread was among my previous roles that brought me joy so I could take a more targeted, yet stairstep approach to my job search, and long term career aspirations. I also came away from our time together with action items that could start being implemented right away. Overall, I would definitely book another session, and recommend her to others - especially if you find yourself stuck in your process of searching/ interviewing for jobs or making strides forward in your career.

I came to Rebecca thinking I needed a career change. She listened and highlighted the fact that I didn't actually need a career change; I really needed to get back to the root of what scratches my itch, professionally. I had already indirectly made up my mind that I was ready to move on from my organization, and she helped me narrow my thoughts and focus on taking the steps toward preparing myself for the job search.

Before we had our session, Rebecca provided a career worksheet to help guide the discussion and that alone already gave me so much insight into my career expectations. I'm not sure I had ever approached a job change like this before, and I found the exercise of just mapping out my must-haves, listing companies I admire, and jobs that exist there, etc., to be eye-opening. I know it's a tool I can revisit. In my session with Rebecca, she helped me see traits in my myself I had not named and to recognize patterns in the activities, tasks, and settings that sparked joy for me. I came to Career Contessa and Rebecca for this session exactly because I needed help connecting the dots on what could be next and, frankly, to get some encouragement that great jobs are still waiting for me. Rebecca provided all that and more. She was friendly and engaged from the very beginning, spending a few minutes getting to know me personally before shifting the conversation to my career focus. I appreciated how well she balanced the time. I also appreciated how quickly she followed up after our session with notes and further things to consider. I would highly recommend working with Rebecca to jump start your next career search. I know I feel so much better after our conversation and feel better equipped to approach the next steps.
